Nicole Campbell was born and raised in Joliet, IL. Her love of animals brought her to the Bloomington/Normal area in 2012 to attend Illinois State University, where she is studying Pre-Veterinary Medicine. She began working at Kruger Animal Hospital in 2015 and quickly fell in love with the atmosphere at the hospital and most of all our patients. In her spare time Nicole enjoys reading, spending time outdoors, crocheting, and volunteering for local animal rescues.

As our Hospital Manager, Jennifer Antonini, tries to make everyone’s life easier, from our clients to our staff. Jennifer loves all pets, but she especially loves when kittens come to visit. In her free time, Jennifer enjoys photography, sports, movies and spending time with her two cats, Marcello and Gianna.

Brittany grew up in Decatur, IL and moved to Bloomington in 2012 while enrolled in classes at ISU. After deciding to make a career change she joined the Kruger team in September 2017. Seeing our patients always brightens her day. She will be enrolling in school achieve her goal of becoming a certified veterinary technician. In her spare time she likes spending time with family and cuddling with Ellie, the sweetest little black cat in the whole world!
Taylor joined the Kruger Animal Hospital family in 2015. She has two floppy, fluffy Labs named Baxter and Duke, a spunky little ferret named Ollie, Abby, who was a canine “foster-fail” that chose her, and Charlotte; a little pit bull that is a fan-favorite and frequent-flyer at Kruger. While working at Kruger Taylor has found a passion for canine and feline nutrition. She looks forward to helping our clients find the right nutritional needs for their furry family members.
Rebekka Weise was born Waseca, Minnesota and moved to Central Illinois in 1993. She attended Parkland Community college and received her AA degree in Psychology (which she is never going to put to professional use….). She moved to Virginia with her husband in 2007 where her son, Whirlwind (aka Douglas), was born. The family added another member in 2014 in the form of the world’s most beautiful black lab named Leena. In her spare time, she enjoys sewing, reading, and spending time with her massive family.
Meaghan Kile joined Kruger Animal Hospital in August 2015. She spends the majority of her days as a veterinary technician however, she is a jack of all trades, helping out in all areas of the hospital. Meaghan is currently attending school to become a Certified Veterinary Technician. In her spare time Meaghan enjoys putting together puzzles. Meaghan’s current roommates are her Chihuahua, Spitz, her German Shepherd, Seamus, and any foster animals she might have at the time!
Maria Gonzalez-Perez is one of our veterinary technicians here at Kruger Animal Hospital. Her journey began in Chicago, and led her to Puerto Rico, where she spent 17 years and started acquiring her veterinary skills. She joined the Kruger Animal Hospital team in 2015, and enjoys seeing all of our patients, especially exotics. Maria loves spending time with her children, her beagle Penny, crocheting, and watching movies. Maria is also fluent in Spanish and can be found trying to teach the staff the language, the key word there is trying.
Certified Veterinary Technician
Sierra Willis is our certified veterinary technician. She began her education at Joliet Junior College. She studied abroad in Guatemala before doing her externship here at Kruger Animal Hospital. After her externship, Sierra became a full time Kruger family member with us in May 2017. In her spare time she can be found spending time with her family and fiancé hiking, watching movies, or playing fetch with Shellie her sheltie, which she is convinced is the world’s cutest dog. Caring for animals is her passion, and she looks forward to meeting and caring for all of our patients.
Eric Ruehrdanz, was born and raised in Palatine Illinois. His journey led him to attend ISU in pursuit of a marketing degree. Eric began working with us in April 2015 as a part time kennel assistant. After falling in love with the veterinary field, Eric worked his way up to a full time technician in 2016. Eric is currently attending school to become a certified veterinary technician. In his spare time, you can find him spending time with his brothers and his dog Lacey, working out, playing and watching sports.
Brad joined the staff at Kruger Animal Hospital in June 2011 as a full-time kennel worker. Brad works hard to care for our boarders each and everyday, making sure they have an enjoyable stay during their time here. He and his wife, Karen, have three children and two grandchildren. They also have two cats, Nemo and Ruu, and two dogs, Milo and Sydney.
